New Single "Hold On"

HOLD ON is a story of personal loss and survival. I originally wrote it after the loss of my grandmother and resonates with loss of love of any kind. Grief and its stages are like a wave we ride on its terms. But, every day, we hope for a brighter future and peace. In these unprecedented times, we are seeking comfort from our loved ones and drawing closer than ever before. HOLD ON is a song of resiliency.

Kat is a singer-songwriter based out of New York City. As she’ll readily tell you she grew up listening to Mariah Carey and her father’s Motown records…over and over again! Her sound is her own, a mix of confessional lyrics with driving guitars and synths over an infectious beat. Her songs let you inside… her delivery makes you ache to know more.

Kat knew early on the power of music to heal and later graduated with a degree in Music Therapy. She immerses herself and the listener in warm soothing tone of those healing waters. She lovingly coaxes out the words to her songs in late nights at the studio and offers them up onstage. She has recorded two studio albums, Engaging the Muse and Chasing Shadows. Kat’s new songs have come from a collaboration with Grammy-winning producer Brian Forbes in Brooklyn, NY. These are songs of transformation, and power, love and loss. Her last single and video is entitled “Our Secret”.

Next up is “Move On” produced Julie Katheryn, aka I Am Snow Angel, and mixed by Brian Forbes.
