New single "Tastes Like You"

St. Humain is a Singapore born, Sydney based singer, songwriter and producer whose music is a delicious amalgam of sounds and stories. The genre-agnostic artist blends pop and electronic with a healthy dose of R&B, to create something which is comfortably familiar, yet alluringly unknown. St. Humain strives to represent the everyday person, delivering honest and relatable songs which speak about his own battles and looks to explore the emotions that make us human.

Now, he is soaring back into the scene with his new single “Tastes Like you”, a track that was entirely self-written and produced, and performed by St. Humain himself. Exploring an encapsulation of jealousy, his latest single blurs the lines between fantasy and reality in a truly remarkable way. His latest endeavor came to fruition upon the unsuspecting swipe of a friend’s Instagram story. St. Humain explains, “I had a little crush on her and saw on Instagram that she was hanging out with another guy and naturally — I began to be jealous, and maybe this is my toxic trait but I started imagining a whole scenario where they were literally going to get married. Turns out they were truly platonic housemates, but the feeling stuck. It’s the lingering afterburn of jealousy/longing that hurt, and trying to drown it out by drinking had zero effect.”

As St. Humain sings, “He’s got that better smile, he’s thinking ring and aisle, but I’m still here sipping whisky but it tastes like you”, his ravishing fables unravel with echoic vocal energy, sweeping synthesisers and a bulging bassline. Paying homage to his love of pop, inspired by artists like Lauv, Blxst, and Dua Lipa, St. Humain consolidates his status as an exceptional storyteller, one whose immersion and passion flow sublimely across his repertoire.

Having released his debut EP, EMOTIONAL SAUNA, in 2019 with Capitol Records, to the acclaim of Billboard, Live Nation's Ones to Watch and Earmilk, to name a few, St. Humain is hoping to aid Asian representation in the music industry and prove that the dreams of a boy from the small country of Singapore aren't just dreams. Following the success of his previous singles "Sick Sad Love Song" and “Memento”, he has racked up over a million streams to date for his music and it's looking like he will continue to soar in success.
