Entitled « Part Time Lover », the track details the struggles of temporary love. The track features incredible session musicians such as drummer Jake Reed (Katy Perry, LA Philharmonic) and bass player Tim Lefebvre (David Bowie, Tedeschi Trucks Band, John Mayer). A powerful brass section by Evan Hatfield, Ben Burget and Jim Hopson. As well as violinist Rebecca Schlappich Charles (Ben Harper, Chance the Rapper, Deadmau5). Mixing engineer Bryan Cook (One Republic, U2, Radiohead) and mastering engineer Robert L. Smith (Aerosmith, Michael Buble, Lenny Kravitz) in New York City.

A passionate and thoughtful singer-songwriter, Matt Koelsch [‘kel-sh’] has built his music career around stirring lyrics, percolating rhythms, and soaring vocals. His songs strike a chord with listeners as he draws on the pains, gains, and adventures of his life growing up in New England.

At the brink of the 2008 recession, Koelsch took a leap of faith—abandoning his position in the world of finance to dive into the turbulent and unknown waters of the music industry. Hardly missing a beat, he’s been pursuing his passion as a full-time recording and performing artist ever since. Based now in Los Angeles, California, Koelsch’s thrilling and soulful performances deliver falsetto, guitar, and whistle solos in a bold, original take on the alternative-pop genre. Catchy vocals and upbeat, dance-worthy melodies set the hook, while other tracks capture the heartache of romantic ballads in yearning lyrics, simple guitar melodies, and soothing rhythms.

Koelsch’s achievements to date include sales of over 3,000 physical records and 500,000-plus streams across platforms. He has performed over 1,000 gigs and shows—at times as many as 170 performances in a year. He has shared the stage with members of legendary bands such as REM, Pink Floyd, and Toto and played alongside contestants of The Voice and American Idol. For several years, he and his band held a residency at Disney in Anaheim, CA. He performed for an audience of over 5,000 people at the Lights Festival in Barstow, CA. Koelsch was the winner of a summer scholarship to Berklee College of Music. In addition to earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Providence College, he supplemented his music education with classes at Providence College and UMASS Amherst. And throughout the pandemic, Koelsch has continued this work at Herb Alpert Music in Los Angeles. His classic-centric studies have included harmony, composition, production, ear-training, piano, guitar and choir across a variety of genres.

Prior releases include a track recorded and produced at Capitol Studios in Hollywood, California, and currently Matt is diving deeper into the world of production and composition. Recently, he’s been hired to produce for emerging artists, and he is in the process of scoring music for an independent drama/suspense film.

Koelsch produced his latest release and tracked the majority of the record at his studio alongside incredible session players who have recorded and performed with Adele, Halsey, John Mayer, Hans Zimmer, and others. This album showcases Koelsch’s range—you’ll find edgy stories told uptempo with splashy brass alongside lush, symphonic string romances, layered with light electronic elements. These fun, heartfelt singles will be released via indie imprint Turbulent Records and will be available on all streaming and viewing platforms.

Le batteur Salah Khaïli a sorti l’hiver dernier l’album Rock Da House, un disque de rock intemporel sur lequel brille son jeu batterie puissant et explosif.

Inspiré par des artistes comme Led Zeppelin ou les Arctic Monkeys, Salah Khaïli dévoile un album aux thèmes autobiographiques ou imaginaires. Il maitrise comme personne l’alternance entre moments posés et passages endiablés tout au long des dix titres de ce disque qui réveille le rock en France.

Après avoir multiplié les sessions aux côtés d’artistes comme Etienne Daho, Tchéky Karyo, Lucky Peterson, Elli Medeiros et bien d’autres, Salah Khaïly a lancé son album sous son nom, enregistré avec la complicité du producteur Fred Lafage.

Après Trees In My Head et Rock That Shit, deux titres bourrés d’adrénaline, Salah Khaïli dévoile le clip d’Escape The Rules, un titre révolté, qui appelle à se défaire des règles, sur un rythme de pur rock’n’roll porté par un couplet planant.

La sortie de l’album Rock Da House met en lumière le talent de Salah Khaïli, musicien aux multiples facettes : batteur, auteur, compositeur, interprète et producteur.

Né à Saintes, il s’installe à Paris en 1990 pour matérialiser ses aspirations artistiques. Dans un premier temps, ce batteur intégral expérimente un vaste spectre de styles qui va du jazz au blues en passant par la soul ou la world music.

On a pu le découvrir aux côtés d’artistes comme Etienne Daho, Elli Medeiros, Tchéky Karyo, Axel Bauer, Sapho, Lucky Peterson et bien d’autres.

Salah éprouve un attachement particulier pour le rock anglais d’hier et d’aujourd’hui dont on retrouve de multiples influences dans son album Rock Da House.

Son jeu de batterie unique et immédiatement reconnaissable et sa personnalité créative brillent tout au long de ce disque.

Diverses voix se relaient sur ses compositions aux rythmiques incisives et entêtantes. Enregistré en Europe et aux Etats-Unis, ce recueil musical est le produit de la convergence artistique du réalisateur Fred Lafage et des compositions de Salah Khaïli. Cet album marque une renaissance du rock français aux consonances internationales.

Joé Dwèt Filé est un auteur, compositeur, interprète et ingénieur du son. L’apparition du virus covid-19 a forcé l’album de Joé dwèt filé à être reporté. Bien que confiné, il a pris le soin de faire patienter ses fans comme il se doit avec un EP. Joé nous avait offert de quoi passer une Saint Valentin des plus romantique avec son titre « bien plus fort » en featuring avec Ya levis. Il nous partage le premier single de son album « jolie madame » avec comme invitée Ronisia une bonne façon de faire patienter son public avant la sortie de son prochain album.

Avec Wahala, l’été joue les prolongations. Direction les Comores dans ce nouveau clip de Says’z qui reprend l’un des sons forts de son EP  » Rouge » sorti en juillet dernier. Réalisé par SAF, le clip tourné à Moroni, ville d’où est originaire Says’z , est un bel hommage à sa culture qui nous fait danser et nous réchauffe. Exactement ce dont on avait besoin en ce début d’automne . Très solaire et léger,  »

« , qui signifie « problème » en comorien, montre bien la détermination à toute épreuve de Says’z; peu importe les obstacles, il les affronte et avance.

Véritable funambule de la musique, Says’z sait varier les styles et nous faire voyager. A seulement 26 ans, l’artiste d’origine comorienne a fait ses preuves parmi plus grands. Sa musique résulte d’un mélange entre pop urbaine, dancehall et afro chill. Révélé à l’été 2016 par sa cover de One Dance de Drake, le jeune artiste n’a cessé d’évoluer et de progresser dans son art. Le succès est au rendez-vous avec 3 millions de vues.

Entitled « Drive Too Fast », the lush indie rock single is a face first collision course into the dark corners of a speed induced lifestyle. On the single Scott confides, »It got me thinking about the hidden psychological debauchery in codependent relationships and I let that topic guide the rest of the song. It started with this meditative but driving acoustic guitar riff, the lyrics and vocal melody followed, then the string arrangement and the rhythm section. While this was self-produced I was honored to feature the talents of Molly Rogers on strings, Kaveh Rastegar on upright bass and Kiel Feher on drums. Scott Gordon mixed the track and Reuben Cohen mastered it. »
