Toronto-bred, UK-based singer/songwriter Melissa Bel transcends musical eras and genres with a voice that is timelessly soulful, yet distinctly fresh. She creates a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of singer-songwriter-pop, bringing intricate narratives to life with heartfelt lyrics, enchanting melodies, and indelible hooks. Armed with the influences of Eva Cassidy, John Mayer, and The Beatles in her subconscious, her soon-to-be-released EP Alone Time offers listeners a moment for self-reflection.

Produced by Kaity Rae (The Shires, Liv Dawson, Natalie Shay), Alone Time is a collection of six tracks exploring themes of solitude, anxiety, dreaming and growth, with an overarching sense of hope weaving its way throughout. The wheels for the project started turning after Bel and Rae met during a virtual writing camp in the pinnacle of Lockdown, and their creative chemistry was instant. Taking to their respective home-studios, they worked mostly via Zoom to bring the project to life, forming an EP that would go on to be mixed by Jamie Sellers (Elton John, Ed Sheeran, Ronan Keating).

Setting the tone with lead single “Better In the Morning”, Bel reassures the listener (and herself) that things are going to be ok, with the title Alone Time offering an influential ode to the global pandemic. Finding familiar comfort in nature, she confides, “I spent lots of time walking in the countryside and I would come up with lyrics and concepts, or tweak ones we already had. I recorded the birdsong and some other nature samples that you hear throughout the EP on a couple of my walks, and went back to one of my favourite spots in the woods to shoot the artwork for « Better In the Morning.” It’s Bel’s hope that Alone Time accentuates the importance of slowing down, spending time in nature and appreciating the fleeting moments we have with our loved ones.

Throughout her career, Melissa Bel has performed across the world stage, opening for artists such as Kylie Minogue and Maverick Sabre. She co-wrote Avril Lavigne’s 2018 single “Tell Me It’s Over” and achieved a Top 10 in the iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts with her song “If She Hadn’t Lied ». Garnering airplay on BBC Radio, her music received humbling support from Apple Music, Amazon Music Canada, BBC Introducing across Surrey and Sussex, and even a no.1 spot on CIBL 101.5 Radio in Montreal. Garnering substantial TikTok support, it’s safe to say Melissa Bel is onto something huge.

Juls is a pop singer/songwriter from Connecticut, who is creating a world radiating with starry eyes, ocean blues and true love. Her love for music began at just eight years old, when her dad built a stage in the basement for Juls and her sister. Instantly recognizing that performing and singing was her calling, Juls shares, “My sister Jacqs was my presenter, and I was the star of the show, prancing onto the stage in my sparkly bodysuits and 6-inch heels (Jacqs was my stylist and makeup artist too, of course). Quite a bit has changed since then, but one thing has remained the same: our shared love for music. Well, two things actually…Jacqs still does my performance makeup lol.”

With a burning desire to pursue her musical career, and with her sister at her side as her manager, best friend and “sisager”, Juls has quickly become a force to be reckoned with. She reveals, “We once believed that the dream worlds we were creating for fun would only ever exist within the confines of our basement. However, we are now turning these dreams into our reality, and we could not be more excited to share them with you all on a bigger platform.”

Taking inspiration from the likes of Taylor Swift and Lana del Rey, Juls is back with her latest release “Heartbreaker,” blessing listeners with her ethereal euphoria and her truly deepening soundscapes. Reflecting the dazzling movements of the ocean, her music metaphorically encapsulates the highs and lows of adolescence. She explains, “I wrote the hook of this new song in my bedroom in Los Angeles last summer. I distinctly remember looking out my window and thinking about how heartbreak has a butterfly effect of sorts; people never break more hearts than when they are heartbroken because they often turn to others to ease their own pain. This person may simply be looking in another’s eyes to erase the haunting memory of the ones they are trying to forget.. in the process, the people with fresh eyes may become heartbroken and taint themselves in a cyclical and sorta achingly ironic way. So I decided to write a song about this cycle of heartbreak and heartbreaking, building off of this play on words to create the hook.”

With a throbbing baseline, Jul’s vocals roar atop stunning instrumentalism, reverberating with her synth-inspired euphoria. Reminding people of the magic in the small moments, she continues, “Music is amazing because it creates internal distance from the outside world and offers listeners a reprieve to clear their head and sink into a different moment or feeling. I hope that my music makes someone, somewhere feel heard or understood.”

Garnering over half a million streams for her music to date, Juls has received critical acclaim from the likes of Wonderland Magazine, Variance, and several Spotify editorial playlists, as she rapidly becomes an artist to watch for this year and beyond.

Holli’s debut single was a breathtaking cover of Roxy Music’s “More Than This”, a raw and intimate version of the celebrated 80’s hit. Collaborating with acclaimed producer Ethan Allen (Throwing Muses, Tricky, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club), she was inspired to release her own version of the song in the midst of dealing with intense grief and loss.

Her first original song, “NEW HIGH” is a celebration of simple pleasures, finding solace in your happy place and a returning to love after a time of hardship. With soaring vocals singing sunshine-dipped melodies over lush and blissful pop rock soundscapes, “NEW HIGH” is a welcome sonic escape, collaborating again with Allen to create a landscape of music that pulls the listener into the neon glow of a surreal joy ride down the coast of Malibu.

“The music was inspired by long trips down the coast from Highway 10 to the PCH, a trip I take often with my husband. It helps me find my center again to see and sit by the ocean. It’s my happy place. I think that ‘NEW HIGH’ is a good song for all of us, transitioning out of our houses and from looking at each other through screens. That separation really does a number on your brain. ‘NEW HIGH’ is saying that we’re going to be all right, we’re making it through and coming out stronger,”

she explains.

In “Play To Lose”, KiKi examines leaving a toxic relationship and finding your voice and confidence in the end. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Holli was drawn to the arts from an early age, with her passions gravitating towards music and theater. Subsequently, she found solace in these disciplines and later earned her BFA in voice and theater for further exploring her unique talents. In addition to being a trained vocalist, Holli also grew up playing the guitar, saxophone and viola. Theatrically she has appeared on stage in the plays Of Mice and Men, Three Sisters and Twelfth Night, and also played the lead role in the Rocky Horror-channeling indie film Isle of Lesbos, celebrated by Swampflix as “a politically angry, deliberately offensive, post-John Waters, queer-as-f*ck movie musical with deep roots in drag & cabaret traditions.”

Most notably, Holli co-wrote and starred in Forever Dusty, a stage musical based on the life of British pop star Dusty Springfield. The production opened off-Broadway in 2012 at New World Stages in New York, garnering coverage from The Village Voice, Reuters, The New York Times and Out Magazine. From there, the play went on to run in Los Angeles and London, as well as other cities in the U.S. and U.K.

Le trio lyonnais argentique explore les rivages d’une pop riche et mélodieuse, teintée de son amour pour la musique électronique et les plus grands tubes des années 2000.

Ces trois mousquetaires de la musique aux influences multiples (Thomas Lefebvre aux claviers, Philippine Boulet à la voix et Nikita Michine à la basse) jouent en mélangeant savamment les sonorités analogiques et numériques pour créer un tout unique et lumineux.

Stefano is a singer, songwriter and piano virtuoso who fuses soul, pop and classical for an enthralling musical journey. The talented songwriter’s music is marked by hope, love and connection in the aim to heal.

Born in Soveria Mannelli, Italy, Stefano took to music at an early age and began classical piano training at age seven. He quickly gained notoriety by performing on popular Italian TV shows, and since then has collaborated with famed songwriters, as well as the famed director Franco Zeffirelli. Honing his craft further, the musician and singer has ultimately composed and scored motion picture soundtracks under the guidance of award-winning filmmaker Jamal Joseph.

Le chanteur de jazz Loïs Le Van revient le 14/10/2022 en trio pour donner une suite à l’album Vind sorti en 2019 et couronné par la critique.

Accompagné de Sandrine Marchetti au piano et piano préparé, et de Paul Jarret à la guitare et aux effets, Loïs Le Van sort l’album Vind 2.0 qui met la barre encore plus haut, grâce à sa voix au lyrisme sans complaisance. Toutes les paroles des treize compositions sont signées Nicky Schrire.

Avec les volutes musicales de l’album Vind 2.0, Loïs Le Van creuse ainsi sa voie, nous entraînant vers une destination sonore où l’on ne résiste pas à l’envie de le suivre au bout du chemin, au gré du vent…

Le nouvel album est une splendeur : une merveille d’épure offrant à l’auditeur un sentiment d’espace, de respiration, de clair-obscur, de lumière voilée. On peut déjà découvrir un premier extrait, Everything Must Change à savourer en clip.

Salué par la critique pour ses albums Vind (2019), et Rendez-vous à l’Ovyne (2017), Loïs le Van s’était déjà démarqué avec So Much More, accompagné de Sylvain Rifflet au saxophone, Bruno Ruder au piano et Chris Jennings à la contrebasse. Cet opus, sorti en 2016, a convaincu entre autres Télérama, Jazz Magazine, Jazz News et Citizen jazz.

Formé au conservatoire de Lyon, Loïs le Van a ensuite étudié en Californie avec Roger Letson, puis à Bruxelles sous la houlette de David Linx.

Pratiquant un jazz éclectique, curieux de nouveautés, Loïs le Van est à l’initiative du Loïs le Van Sextet, ensemble dont les compositions et arrangements pour bugle et cor d’harmonie dévoilent toutes les nuances de sa voix. En faisant interpréter ses compositions par le Bravo Big Band sur l’album Rendez-vous à l’Ovyne (2017), le chanteur propose une œuvre conçue comme une intrigue poétique, sur les textes de François Vaiana et Laura Karst.

Ses projets se multiplient avec la création de Vind, trio qu’il compose avec Paul Jarret à la guitare et Sandrine Marchetti au piano. Après son premier album éponyme, le trio s’engage dans l’aventure d’un deuxième opus, Vind 2.0, prévu pour le 14/10/2022 chez Cristal Records.

Le premier extrait s’intitule Everything Must Change, un titre composé par Bernard Ighner. Loïs Le Van l’interprète comme il interprète ses propres compositions, avec un engagement total. Avec la version intimiste et sensible de ce trio atypique (Sandrine Marchetti au piano, Paul Jarret à la guitare), les paroles et la mélodie résonnent comme si le morceau avait été écrit récemment pour ce disque et propulsent Loïs Le Van parmi les plus grands vocalistes européens.

« J’ai longtemps pensé pourquoi « je m’aime » sonnait provocateur, égoïste, comme une phrase qui ne devrait pas être dite ni même pensée. J’ai aussi réfléchi à ce que l’amour de soi signifie pour moi et pourquoi je n’y avait pas pensé avant. » – MILOU

Milou a écrit son premier album dans le sud de la France à Aujargues au printemps 2021. L’influence du village et des entourages s’entend non seulement dans les textes mais aussi dans l’univers sonore de la production. L’artiste a enregistré des sons d’animaux, des bruits du marché ainsi que d’autres sons de l’environnement qu’elle a ensuite utilisés dans la production.C’est la première fois que Milou se produit elle-même, ce qui rend l’album d’autant plus personnel.

Milou est une artiste pop dont le parcours sort de l’ordinaire. De nationalité finlandaise, elle a vécu 10 ans en France pendant son enfance puis pour ses études.

Issue d’une famille de musiciens, elle a commencé à jouer du piano dès l’âge de 3 ans. Milou écrit en français et en anglais. Milou compose, arrange et produit elle-même toute sa musique, son style fusionne instruments acoustiques et sons électroniques. Son univers musical est un mélange unique de cultures ainsi que de différents genres de musique, notamment la pop, le RnB, l’électro et la musique classique.

Le premier album de Milou parle de l’épuisement mental, de la perte de confiance, de la reconstruction et de la redécouverte de soi. De nature curieuse et enthousiaste, l’artiste s’est toujours produite dans d’innombrables projets professionnels et personnels. A tel point qu’elle s’est trouvée face à ses limites.

L’album « Je m’aime » incite à être plus indulgent envers soi-même et à apprendre à accepter et aimer celle ou celui qui est finalement le plus grand amour de votre vie : vous-même.

Titre personnel qui incarne sa rupture personnelle et musicale, Try To Explain vient marquer le nouveau chapitre de sa carrière solo. Ce premier single sortira le 23 septembre en attendant la suite de l’opus disponible dès le 21 octobre 2022 !

Inspirée des sons lo-fi de son enfance et influencée par des groupes comme Air, Kate Bush, Bjork, Au Revoir Simone ou encore Fleet Wood Mac, la musique de PILOTE se définit comme une collision atmosphérique, voguant entre charme et naïveté.

À travers ses synthés « dreamy » et sa voix délicate, elle délivre une musique joyeusement nostalgique qui se distingue par des mélodies résolument pop. On y retrouve des histoires d’amour inachevées, d’amitiés confuses ou d’exploration de la place des femmes nébuleuses dans ce monde en constante évolution. En live, on la retrouve seule, multi-instrumentiste, passant de la guitare à la basse ou au clavier en un tour de bras, le tout signé sur son propre label indépendant baptisé Antartic Records.

est le projet solo SynthPop de Christelle Armenio. Originaire de Dijon, la multi-instrumentiste et productrice autodidacte s’est créé un univers dont elle seule a les commandes…

Découvrant la guitare par hasard à l’âge de 12 ans, l’artiste se passionne pour cet instrument à cordes qui lui donne l’envie d’écrire et de composer. En parallèle de ses études scientifiques et en attendant secrètement de devenir pilote de ligne, la jeune femme passe le brevet de pilote de tourisme grâce à une bourse, à seulement 15 ans. Suite à un problème de santé, son rêve s’effondre : elle ne pourra pas être pilote de ligne. C’est donc dans la musique que la jeune femme se réfugie.

Entre la Suisse et la France, PILOTE fait ses premières gammes, sort un album et décide de se consacrer pleinement à sa musique. À 23 ans, elle signe avec Garance Production et Universal Music, écrivant pour d’autres artistes. C’est au gré de ses expériences que la jeune femme prend goût à la production musicale et aux arrangements. Elle s’équipe rapidement de plusieurs claviers et de basses vintages visant à créer un son plus singulier et plus proche de ses influences Anglo-Saxonnes.

Suite à une rencontre musicale et amoureuse, Christelle s’installe à Dijon et lance le groupe Hilldale : une indie pop aux influences croisées entre Real Estate et Go-Betweens dans lequel elle chantera, jouera de la basse et de la guitare pendant 6 ans. Après trois vynils et de nombreuses premières parties de concert (Feu Chatterton, The pains of Being Pure of Heart, Yumizuma, Motorama, Still Corners, Tops, etc.) le groupe se dissout.
