La chanteuse Laura Anglade et le guitariste Sam Kirmayer sortent un album de chanson jazz Venez Donc Chez Moi, à paraître le 20 mai 2022 sur le label canadien Justin Time Records.

Laura Anglade (voix) et Sam Kirmayer (guitare) se complètent parfaitement, flottant d’une chanson à l’autre avec une fluidité presque magique. Le duo présente avec leur nouvel album des classiques de la chanson française des années 40, 50 et 60 d’Aznavour, Michel Legrand, Charles Trenet, entre autres.

Au fil des mois, Laura Anglade et Sam Kirmayer nous ont dévoilé quelques titres de l’album, comme Chez Laurette, le succès de Michel Delpech, revu et corrigé par les deux musiciens au sommet de leur art, mais aussi J’aime Paris au Mois de Mai de Charles Aznavour, Venez Donc chez Moi de Jean Féline et Paul Misraki ou La Chanson de Maxence de Michel Legrand. Pour la sortie de l’album, Laura Anglade et Sam Kirmayer nous dévoilent une nouvelle vidéo présentant l’album Venez donc chez moi.

Globetrotteuse, Laura Anglade partage son enfance entre le sud de la France et les États-Unis avant de s’installer à Montréal où elle est depuis reconnue comme une des voix les plus prometteuses de la nouvelle scène jazz.

Influencée par le parcours musical de ses parents, la jeune chanteuse de 23 ans s’inspire de ses idoles, Ella Fitzgerald, Carmen McRae, Sarah Vaughan et Anita O’Day depuis un très jeune âge. La chanteuse a réalisé en 2019 son premier album très justement intitulé I’ve Got Just About Everything. Dotée d’une voix pleine et chaleureuse, ses performances révèlent une interprète à la fois circonspecte et expressive qui maîtrise parfaitement l’art de l’intensité.

Aujourd’hui, la chanteuse prépare la sortie de son album Venez Donc Chez Moi, accompagnée du guitariste Sam Kirmayer dans lequel on retrouve des grands standards de la chanson française revisités avec brio.

Elegant soulful duo ELIS NOA released their single,

The pair previously worked with Marco Kleebauer (Leyya and Bilderbuch) as well as Max Walch (Left Boy and Bilderbuch) and performed across Europe. « As we wandered through the very different stages of letting go, ‘Mad About You’ is a moment of anger and disappointment. I felt misunderstood, left out and pushed away. It is also a crucial song and turning point inside the album. While writing, I understood that all anger and disappointment really were an expression of myself, responding to inner insecurities and expectations. I realised that my feelings belonged to me and were my responsibility. How somebody makes you feel has a lot to do with yourself and very little with the other.“

AJ confides on the release, « I wrote ‘Blue Lights’ after seeing someone overdose opposite my old flat.The song is me hoping that he still has a spark of hope left, that it was just a call for help. »

AJ Wander started his journey in the suburbs of south-east London. The son of a pianist, he began honing his unique musical sensibility at an early age. After living in Australia for several years in his youth, he returned to the UK to pursue a formal education at the prestigious Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford. While enrolled, he joined indie band Tors, performing in front of thousands of people as part of the fast growing group.

Heeding the call to further explore his own creative identity as a solo artist, Wander departed Tors after 2 years. Diving deeper into his roots as a pianist, he built a fledgling career performing covers at piano bars and hotels across the UK, developing a ubiquitous playing style while garnering acclaim on a regional level as a rising star entertainer.

As the world reopened, Wander began to attract attention from industry leaders. He landed a management and distribution deal with USA based firm Elevation Group, along with a publishing agreement through BDi Music. Discriminations, injustices, relations humaines et fonctionnement de notre société actuelle sont les thèmes de prédilection du chanteur béninois. Dans un style unique reflétant la richesse de ses origines et de son ouverture culturelle, Guy Mapoko nous propose aujourd’hui un titre plus léger écrit par Anne-Marie Bélanger. Originaire du Bénin avec des racines au Ghana et au Togo, Guy Mapoko est un chanteur et pianiste aux multiples cultures, résidant à Montréal depuis une dizaine d’années. Entitled « College Friends » the single features gritty acoustic guitars under smooth vocals that ebb and flow with an effortless flow. Cannon brilliantly fuses elements of alternative rock, hip hop, and garage pop for an enthralling sonic experience.

He confides, « when I graduated from college, I found myself worrying about whether I was sacrificing too much time chasing my goals to spend time with my friends or sacrificing too much time with my friends to chase my goals. I soon came to realize that in trying to be two places at once, I ended up nowhere. Part of the process of graduating and growing up for me has been learning how to decide where to allocate my time. »

Cannon is a 24-year-old artist from South Carolina. He has been a writer at heart from an early age, fascinated with words and how they connect us to our surroundings. He began to develop his sound through recording himself in his dorm room at Boston College, drawing on his acoustic guitar and the hip-hop/R&B he bonded over with his friends to create a unique, organic blend of rhythms.

Cannon’s debut single “Water Glass” has amassed over 7 million streams on Spotify from word of mouth marketing alone. He has performed as the opening act for artists like Jon Bellion, Gavin DeGraw, and Hunter Hayes, and as a headliner at venues in Boston and New York. He has gained a significant following on TikTok, going viral for sampling his baby nephew and his broken laptop in a song, a video that Zane Lowe called “a moving and poignant tribute to an old friend.”

Cannon continues to develop as an artist through producing his own music, designing his cover art and merch, and working with a host of talented collaborators in New York and LA. He is now based in Brooklyn, NY as he prepares for his upcoming project release.

Sonically influenced by the likes of N.E.R.D. and Hiatus Kaiyote, Palmaria focuses on the atmosphere that the song creates, transporting listeners to another dimension.

Palmaria are an Alt Pop duo from a small town in Italy, currently residing in London. Members Giulia and Francesco transport listeners on a journey of dreamy landscapes and uplifting experiences. Think The xx meet Sylvan Esso meet Little Dragon on a field trip to the Italian coast.

Their latest single “Ultraviolet” was co-written and produced with producer duo B-CROMA.
