Après nous avoir présenté le clip féérique de

“Sanctuary”

, ainsi que celui de

“JFMB”

, réel hymne à un style de vie libre, la jeune chanteuse nous dévoile aujourd’hui “I Got Your Back”.

Très travaillé d’un point de vue esthétique, le clip de ce nouveau single est encore une fois très réussi.

Ce titre, mélange de R&B alternatif et de soul, s’adresse à l’une des amies de l’artiste : « La vie peut parfois sembler si solitaire, la dépression est un sujet dont nous ne parlons pas souvent mais qui en touche tellement. C’est ok d’avoir des moments difficiles, d’avoir besoin de moments « off »… Ce morceau est un message de réconfort qui explique que peu importe ce qui se passe, je suis là… ».

Ce nouvel extrait annonce l’album conceptuel “Genesis” (prévu pour le début d’année) qui réunira deux facettes de la personnalité de K.ZIA.

Le premier univers plus soul et R&B est celui de K.ZIA, l’artiste dans sa forme originale, à la fois aimante, bienveillante, spirituelle et chaleureuse.

Le second est l’univers trap et pop de son alter-ego ZIA, personnage féroce et indompté avec une énergie plus masculine…

Brandon « Cody Tyler » Mcroy also Known as “Cody Tyler” is an African American artist and songwriter. Originally born in Florida, Cody Tyler went to college for fashion merchandising and design in Miami, then studied acting in Los Angeles at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts on a partial scholarship. Shortly after, Cody ended up in the mental hospital for depression and suicide, but it was then that he discovered his love for music. As he began writing through that low point in his life, he discovered his vision through music and the motivation to want to help people and inspire.

is from Spain and is currently based in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Born and based in Tel-Aviv,

spent some time living in Boston before he would go on to follow his passion for the written word, becoming editor in chief at

Haaretz Magazine. Tee Dee Dees

is the solo project of

Ori Mark

, although he enlisted

Tomer Z

(of the UK-Israeli band

What happens when you take synth-pop and infuse it with a cyberpunk attitude? After hearing

Juche’s

, the answer can’t be anything less than magic. A touch of diva and drama meets the rolling waves of the undisturbed synth world within the remix, as retroelements provide balance to the experience.

Speaking of the creation of the remix,

When I listened to the original song for the very first time, I was convinced that (Tee Dee Dees’) voice was very versatile. I could have made a different sound, but I thought that making some kind of  »Pop » music and  »Wave » would be super appropriate. I tried a similar approach, mixing past & contemporary sounds, adding that Juche dreamy and nostalgic touch.”

Toujours à mi-chemin entre rêve et réalité, la musicienne

évolue dans une drôle de galaxie, s’interrogeant sur ce qu’est devenue sa grande soeur disparue soudainement.

Ce dernier volet de la trilogie avec le poisson rouge qu’elle a réalisé elle-même nous emmène dans un monde parallèle. Une fenêtre ouverte vers une eau volcanique à l’atmosphère étrange où gravitent un poisson rouge et autres curiosités. En mouvement dans cet espace totalement surréaliste proche du quotidien, entre la cuisine, le salon et la salle de bain,

Entre poésie et mélancolie,

sa voix originale et son orfèvrerie pop dans le paysage de la nouvelle scène française.

Après une enfance passée en Afrique, au Cameroun et en Mauritanie, une adolescence à Marseille et des études à Montréal (McGill University), Vanessa Philippe s’installe à Paris. Passionnée par l’écriture et la danse, en formation de danseuse professionnelle au RIDC (Françoise et Dominique Dupuy), elle passe la plupart de son temps à écrire. Elle croise un compositeur à la recherche de paroles à qui elle présente ses textes qu’il juge trop personnels. Il lui propose de les chanter elle-même.

Auteure-interprète de deux premiers albums de chanson française, « La dérive » en 2008 et « La fille sans qualités » en 2011, elle sort « My Man » en 2015, un disque franco-anglais plus rock, co-composé avec Naïm Amor (Calexico), avec Yan Péchin à la guitare (Bashung, Brigitte Fontaine…). Elle revient en 2018 avec un nouvel opus très personnel « A l’abri du vent », plus électro-pop, réalisé́ par Pascal Parisot, qu’elle a écrit et composé, sauf 5 musiques recomposées par Fredda.

À la suite du décès de sa grande sœur en août 2019, Vanessa Philippe écrit entièrement paroles et musiques d’un nouvel album « Soudain les oiseaux » qu’elle lui dédie, prévu en janvier 2022. Elle confie la réalisation à Pascal Parisot, en continuité de l’album précédent, et le mixage à Angy Laperdrix.

Danseuse et chorégraphe, depuis 2013 elle réalise elle-même ses clips où elle se met en scène pour prolonger son univers. Elle obtient le premier prix à plusieurs Festivals Internationaux, notamment pour les clips « Girls », « Your Promise », « À l’abri du vent » et « Suivre le soleil ».

C’est pour annoncer la sortie de son futur album en 2022, qu’elle crée une trilogie de clips avec un poisson rouge sur les trois premiers singles « Suivre le soleil », « Les maux » et « Soudain les oiseaux ».

Sung from the cool shadows that set-in long after the heat of the moment has passed, The Joshua Hotel retraces the moments that brought a relationship to its end. Narrated with that sense of clarity that is gifted only with hindsight, it finds an artist lost in the what-ifs and whys, and wondering whether things could have worked out differently.
