the music video for “Whatcha Doin’ To Me” follows Moonlight Jones as he serenades a sultry stranger on a chance encounter train ride. The story takes place in France during 1954 and is shot in black and white film to suggest an air of classical romance. At the climax of the song, the film switches to color as Moonlight Jones pops a bottle of champagne and plays his silky-smooth electric guitar riff over a black-sequin dressed dancer. It is a seductive celebration highlighting Moonlight Jones’ vocal prowess and warm ambiance.

Moonlight Jones has assembled a Grammy award-winning team to introduce an innovative and eclectic style of music deemed « Cosmic Soul,” an enthralling and fluid blend of Latin music, R&B, Blues and Rock. « Whatcha Doin’ To Me” perfectly encompasses these ideals while showcasing sensual, refined vocals, burgeoning electric guitar solos, and a base track that is intrinsically captivating. Music has taken Moonlight Jones to many corners of the globe and from coast to coast in the United States. A self-taught guitarist, he was fascinated with how easily music could open up whole worlds of creativity and inspiration. He promptly learned as much as he could from every musician he knew in his hometown of Tampa, Florida and set off on his musical journey.

Born to an Egyptian father and an American mother of Czech heritage, MoonLight Jones’ introduction into the world of music was wide ranging and has influenced his musical style ever since. Latin, Middle Eastern and World music was always playing in MoonLight Jones’ household, as was Blues, Bluegrass, Asian, and Folk music.

The sound of the flamenco guitar in particular inspired him to move to Spain and learn as much as he could about the style while living and studying in Barcelona and Granada. Trips to Puerto Rico, Cuba and Colombia further opened up his world to the rich musical cultures of those countries and many others.

His professional music career started in Los Angeles, CA. His first job in L.A. was working for famed graphic designer Kyle Cooper, in Malibu. Shortly after, Jeff decided to pursue sound engineering to round out his growing musical experience. Whilst working with many local bands he got an opportunity to tour with the 100 Monkeys, which was “Twilight” alum Jackson Rathbone’s band and headlined shows at The Whiskey-A-Go Go, The Mint, The House of Blues on Sunset and The Viper Room, to name a few. He also produced hip-hop for The Jugernox, with Scott “The Scientist” Coslett and Jerry “J-Strong” Armstrong for artists like James Jr, a Memphis rapper and also H-Town rapper, Rock.

Moonlight Jones’ love of film music eventually landed him a job with Heitor Pereira, famed film composer, who had a studio at Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Studios in Santa Monica. Moonlight Jonesalso lived in Nashville, TN. where he plied his trade in Southern Rock band, Suthurn Swaggur, with the talented lead vocalist and lyricist, Joseph Dawson.

More recently, he moved back to Florida, this time to Miami, where he began working with local Haitian artists, Claude Cajuste of Gemini All-Stars fame, and rapper/singer Purple Gorilla. Together, they formed the group Echo N Dream and have played shows all over Miami.

In 2021, Moonlight Jones teamed up with International recording artist and producer Nino Valentino. Together they created a unique genre of music called « Cosmic Soul » which is a blend of Flamenco music, R&B and Rock. When asked why they chose the name « Cosmic Soul » Moonlight Jones responded, « Through our music we want to connect with our fans on a universal level, that’s what Cosmic Soul is all about. Connecting with each other using our music as the vehicle ». Moonlight Jones just released his debut single, “Hot Night”, written by Moonlight Jones and produced by Nino Valentino and recorded at Mambo Cat Studios owned by Grammy-winning Trumpet Player Dante Vargas. The song also features the amazing vocals of Karina Iglesias, a Miami native and finalist on “The Voice”. The track was then mixed by Grammy winning engineer Sean Moffitt and mastered by Grammy winning engineer Joe LaPorta.

Le jeune quatuor de Pigalle nous avait habitués à une pop funky et ensoleillée mais ce nouveau single nous immerge – comme le précédent – dans des sonorités électro teintées de noirceur.

De la pop de nuit parisienne bordée à une nostalgie early 2010’s et de multiples références à Requiem For A Dream.

‘When She’s Gone’ met en scène les 4 membres du groupe, chacun incarnant les travers d’une dépendance faisant écho aux vices de notre société actuelle. Le duo de réalisateurs V/K (composé de Vincent Lacrocq et Kristell Chenut) alterne avec frénésie des images frappantes et évocatrices, nous embarquant dans un tourbillon jouissif – de l’extase à la chute. Vous y trouverez de nombreuses références au film culte « Requiem for a Dream ».

Théo joue du piano, Paul de la guitare et de la basse, Noah est à la prod, et CharlesMarie chante. Ce quatuor du 9ᵉ arrondissement de Paris, amis d’enfance ou amis d’amis, devient en 2019, Later.

Influencé par le funk, la pop et le jazz, Later. cherche à faire voyager son public là où tout est plus doux, plus serein, loin de l’effervescence quotidienne, un monde dans lequel se fondent rêve et réalité. En mars 2019, le groupe se fait repérer par Kitsuné Musique, grâce à qui ils sortent leur premier single, « L.Y.E ». Chez Cookie Records, ils signent deux EPs, qu’ils produisent dans leur home studio à Pigalle. « On Time » et « The Daydream » reçoivent l’attention de plusieurs radios comme Nova, FIP, et France Inter qui les reçoit au micro de Laurent Goumarre.

Sur les plateformes de streaming, Later. intègre de nombreuses playlists éditoriales. Le JT de France 2 les présente même comme la relève des Daft Punk dans un sujet sur le duo mythique français. Un an seulement après leurs débuts, Bon Entendeur leur propose de sortir « Get up! » à l’occasion de leur toute première compilation.

Ils collaborent ensuite avec l’étoile montante du rap James the Prophet qui pose ses vers sur « Highway 10 », titre partagé sur Twitter par l’astronaute Thomas Pesquet.

S’ensuivent 2 concerts sold out (la Boule Noire fin 2021 puis le Hasard Ludique début 2022), avant de retourner en studio pour composer le premier album qui sortira début 2023 sur Cookie Records.

Hailing from the barrier islands of South Carolina, Andrew Christopher Rutherford Royal has a deep connection with the land and embodies a non-traditionalist’s interpretation of the eastern South. He writes Southern Gothic cameos which he weaves into often dark, Indie Americana. After writing and curating the works for an album he records and mixes the music for Rutherford Royal (as well as other artists) in his remote cabin studio overlooking a hidden waterfall in southern Tennessee.

Entitled « Liar Liar », the autobiographical song was inspired when Ceara found out her boyfriend was cheating on her in Vegas with someone she used to be good friends with. She further confides, « I had a dream the night prior that he was cheating with her, and he tried denying it for weeks. Eventually, one of his friends told me the truth with screenshots, and I wrote Liar Liar the following day. It is the worst feeling when you find out your intuition was right when dealing with something like that, especially if you think you’re « in love. » I wanted to write a fun, empowering post-breakup song that you can scream in your car and help ease the pain of being cheated on, even if it’s just for a couple of minutes.

Ceara Cavalieri is a 26 year old singer/songwriter from Southern California. Having graduated from UCLA with a degree in Psychology, Cavalieri has since dedicated herself to pursuing music full time. Her love for music stems from the age of three, where she found her voice and wouldn’t stop singing. In her teenage years she took to songwriting as a way of expressing her thoughts and feelings when her shyness prevented. With seven single releases under her belt thus far, Cavalieri is carving out her own distinct sound of incredibly infectious and candidly relatable pop rock music. Her latest single, “Damn” was placed on Spotify’s “Teen Beats” playlist and “Fresh Finds” playlist. Ne serait-il pas mieux de s’aimer de ranger nos rengaines respectives, car enfin, nous avons quelque chose qui nous réunit.Comme à son habitude, il s’amuse à traiter de sujet fort, dans une ambiance festive à l’image de son single “Tout se passe bien”.

Un refrain simple et entraînant, des phases chantées et rappées, le tout sur une rythmique dancehall et des mélodies ciselées mêlant les sonorités organiques et digitales avec perfection. Il nous offre là un titre frais, efficace et indéniablement Pop.

Tête bien faite et tête bien pleine, c’est peu de dire que JYEUHAIR possède les deux et sait en faire une force. Productions et textes soignés, clips très personnels, goût prononcé pour l’expérimentation, l’artiste de 26 ans insuffle à sa musique sa sensibilité en la nourrissant de toutes les influences de son monde intérieur.« J’ai commencé à faire du son quand j’avais 13 ans. Après son premier projet OBZERV (février 2020) et plus récemment LAVENTUR (décembre 2021). Un gap est franchi, il prend le large, l’expérimentation est encore plus poussée et la fusion est maîtrisée. De la pop music, à la world en passant par l’électro, JYEUHAIR laisse libre cours à ses envies pour nous livre un style qui lui est propre !

Il nous revient en septembre 2022, seulement quelques mois après ELEFAN, pour nous présenter son nouveau single C’EST MORT C’EST DEAD . Encore à la croisée des chemins, ce single fort nous ouvre la porte vers une nouvelle phase de son projet, plus pop et toujours plus JYEUHAIR…

Pour ce nouveau single emprunt d’une tonalité douce et romantique, le chanteur franco-danois de pop/RnB Thorgan s’associe à la chanteuse suédoise Angelicca (connue pour son single « Shut Up And Listen » devenu viral sur Tik Tok) pour ce nouveau titre sensuel et intime. Les deux artistes scandinaves racontent l’histoire d’amour entre un homme et une femme qui s’abandonnent l’un à l’autre le temps d’une nuit, peignant une scène intime où la sensualité et la tension règnent, et où le rêve altère la réalité.

Né à Copenhague et ayant grandi en Scandinavie, Thorgan développe une passion pour la musique dès son plus jeune âge. Ayant chanté dans la chorale Cantores Minores puis dans un groupe de rock avec ses camarades de classe, et ayant pris des cours de piano depuis ses 13 ans, Thorgan découvre le R&B et la production musicale à l’âge de 15 ans. La première fois que j’ai découvert ce duo d’Alain Souchon et Jane Birkin, j’ai reçu un uppercut.

Entre le coup de poing dans le cœur et la leçon d’écriture.

Elle est d’une facture parfaite, en tous cas elle regroupe à mon sens tout ce qui fait le charme d’une grande chanson :

Elle a l’air de rien, elle est très courte, les variations harmoniques sont simples mais la ligne mélodique ainsi que la rythmique du chant viennent nous surprendre constamment.

Lui :

En découvrant « Comédie », je suis d’abord touché par l’atmosphère de cette chanson, la simplicité de l’arrangement, la fragilité et la douceur des voix.

, ou l’inverse.

Et puis il y a les mots, ces mots qui disent la difficulté de s’aimer, qui disent la jalousie. Ces mots qui restent cachés aussi, parfois. Mais surtout c’est mots qui disent l’amour et le désir de s’aimer le plus longtemps possible.

”You can try to live in the past. I’ve done that myself for way too long. Even though, if you could actually go back to a certain place and time in your life, you’re no longer the person you used to be.”

For the past couple of years, Mattis has been going through a personal transformation. And now the songwriter, who is known for an electronic soulful sound, is ready to live out his true self through his lyrics and a new organic sound that he introduces on the single, ‘You Can Never Go Back’.

”I became a dad for the first time, earlier this year – and what my daughter has taught me so far, is to live in the now. These days, she’s crawling around on the floor but before I know, she’s off to college. Having her right here has changed my focus in life upside down and I don’t wanna miss any second together with her,”

Mattis says.

Mattis is a former punk rocker well known on the Copenhagen underground art scene and quite impossible to miss with his staggering 6 feet 8 inches in height. He eventually hung up his studded leather jacket and adopted a more vulnerable and soulful sound fronted by his characteristic deep vibrato voice.

He debuted in 2017 with the critically acclaimed ‘Loverboy’ and soon Mattis was one of the most talked about new Danish artists hitting sites like Wonderland, DIY and The Huffington Post. His songs have also been featured in various movies and series like Shadowhunters (Netflix), Farang (SVT) and Greyzone (DR).
