J’ai choisi le plan séquence parce que je voulais éviter tous les pièges, voire clichés, des live multicaméras, lesquels aboutissent plus ou moins en une succession sans surprise des meilleurs plans. Un live sans tension n’est pas un live. Je ne voulais pas tricher sur ce point

Entitled « Filler », the track « explores the two sides of the grass being greener on the other side. On one hand, we all believe that we’re meant for and deserve good and greater things. But that can also be a complete trap: you look ahead so far in the future that you miss the things around you. So filler is a reminder to keep a balance in your life. » confides Nick Black. The track also features hip hop artist Daz Rinko.

Nick Black is a fun, optimistic, and authentic artist from Memphis, TN. Influenced by the feel-good music of John Mayer and John Legend, and the musicality of legacy acts such as Al Green and Sting, Nick has created his music to sound modern and unique, yet familiar and nostalgic.

His stage presence as an entertainer is quite something to behold. Nick pulls the audience in and doesn’t let them go. He creates an experience that he wants everyone to be part of. Pulling people up from the crowd, singing to a fan in the front row…everyone’s included. He grew up between two worlds: his family’s deep ties to church, and his hometown of Memphis where Soul, RnB, Rock N’ Roll, and Blues legends made names for themselves, Black’s sound is an organically grown phenomenon, honed at open mic nights, in church, at hundreds of club gigs, and now on larger stages across the USA.

Since his first album in 2012, The Soul Diaries, his authenticity and passion has been the foundation of his identity, both as a person and as an artist. In March and April of 2020, with touring being shut down, Nick embarked on a record-setting 30 songs in 30 days called “Nick Black’s $ongs from $cratch” on his Twitch channel writing songs in real time from samples, riffs and lyric lines sent in by viewers.

He has since written over 100 songs in front of a quickly growing live streaming audience, 12 of which landed on his brand new TWITCH

album, which has over 100,000 plays on Spotify. He released music videos for two songs off the album, “Priceless” and “Filler”.

Nick and his band are set to embark on a nationwide tour from May to September of 2022, which will start on the west coast of the United States and end up in the northeastern US.

Lucy & La Mer’s new single “Don’t It Feel Good” embodies the artist’s message of self-acceptance and positivity.

Lucy LaForge, the artist behind the name “Lucy & La Mer”, is known for her upbeat and optimistic songs, as well as for her mental health advocacy within the LGBTQ community. Coming out in an interview in 2018, Billboard stated that the singer is “proud of who and what she is.”

Lucy’s music has been featured by The LA Times, Rolling Stone India, Huffington Post, EARMILK, Billboard Pride, Pride and many more publications. Her music is a blend of pop empowerment with lyrical stylings mirroring her storytelling folk music upbringing.

Often seen performing with a ukulele, Lucy was chosen to feature the new Billie Eilish Ukulele by Fender in Summer 2020, and presented the Dhani Harrison ukulele in 2021. The singer has also collaborated with major brands like IKEA, HP, Guitar Center, and Kala Ukuleles. Her music can be heard on international commercials, with companies such as Disney and Dove using her upbeat tunes in advertisements.

In 2021, Lucy’s single “Ooh La La” inspired various TikTok influencers to get up and dance. With over 3 million TikTok views, Lucy’s Social Media has become a place of encouragement to many.

Known for her mesmerizing, multicolored voice, unique compositions and enchanting tales, Pitou delivers a translation of this modern world into intriguing, richly layered musical tales.

The music of Amsterdam-born singer and songwriter Pitou is characterized by her mesmerizing, multicolored voice, and her unique compositions. Enchanting tales, moving from delicate and intimate to grand and orchestral. As a child she sang in a professional classical children’s choir. In search of independence she started writing her own music.

Her latest single “Big Tear” is the perfect example of her love to blend pop music with classical instrumentation. Showcasing unexpected harmonies and song-structures, vocal layering and poetic, storytelling lyrics, the song transcends into a beautiful kaleidoscope of hypnotic rhythms. The harp loop mirrors the feeling of an angry, but not bitter energy, similar to a child unable to solve a puzzle due to not having learned the tools. Pitou explains, « This went well with the lyrics, a formative childhood memory translated into a fable.”

With a fearlessness towards weirdness, there are no boundaries to the music of Pitou. She shares, “I tend to write songs that serve a personal purpose. A bit of hopefulness or light that I need, a reminder of something I should give more attention, a guideline for how I’d want to live my life, or just the processing of something that’s happened. The underlying theme is often ‘how to be human’. I suppose the upcoming album could also be seen as a sort of ‘How To Human’ guide, one that I needed at the time.”

Forget Me Note, l’incroyable ensemble polyphonique à capella, nous offre en clip l’irrésistible Moyen de Transport.

Véritable medley mélangeant différents titres du répertoire du groupe féminin Forget Me Note, cette vidéo nous fait découvrir les cinq musiciennes sous un jour nouveau. Difficile de ne pas succomber à leur énergie et leur folie contagieuse qui nous fait passer en un tour de chant de Queen à Georges Brassens, de Serge Gainsbourg aux Beatles.

Après avoir bourlingué dans tous les coins de la planète, ce qui n’est pas si simple, puisque rappelons-le, la terre est ronde, nos cinq hôtesses de l’air de Forget Me Note ont repris du service avec leur spectacle Voyages, qui a donné lieu à une vaste tournée et un album sur le label Youz Prod.

De New York à Kuala Lumpur, de Venarey-Les-Languedoc à Johannesburg, elles continuent de voyager, mais en musique. Fini le gasoil, bonjour les étoiles ! Les musiciennes de Forget Me Note dévoilent aujourd’hui un clip exclusif, comme un bonus inédit de l’album.

La vidéo présente les cinq hôtesses de l’air et leur monde déjanté. Tantôt à vélo, tantôt à moto, en randonnée pédestre ou même équestre, les cinq protagonistes nous embarquent pour leur joyeuse balade musicale. Le tout dans leur univers polyphonique, fait de bric et de broc, mais toujours avec bonne humeur. Alors prêts pour l’aventure avec elles ?

Forget Me Note est un projet de chant polyphonique A capella d’origine lyonnaise qui a débuté en 2013.

Voyages est le second spectacle du groupe Forget Me Note. La musique et les textes sont principalement composés et écrits par les cinq chanteuses et leur metteur en scène. La mise en scène, teintée d’humour, de poésie et de fantaisie, fait écho à la première création : les anciennes hôtesses de l’air sont devenues les représentantes d’une agence de voyage hors norme…

Les cinq chanteuses se dévoilent avec le clip medley de Moyen de Transport qui évoque les divers modes de transport terrestre. Une fois de plus, Forget Me Note nous emporte dans ses plus beaux Voyages, avec son chant polyphonique à capella.

L’enregistrement est simple, quelques microphones dans un studio de cèdre, on entend les bottes qui battent le rythme pour un jeu de guitare agile et une voix rauque. Cette chanson, c’est ce que David Ivar cherchait en commençant
