« We knew that we wanted to bring out the fun aspect of this song and accentuate how everyone involved is a character in their own right. We linked up with Bird Peterson, who’s an incredible animator. On the first call with Bird we thought the process was going to be really collaborative and that we were going to have all these great ideas to feed him to do his thing with. Instead, he basically said, « this is the treatment » and proceeded to describe this whole 60’s style cereal commercial world he had created in his head that involved Juicy J leading children (us) into mischief. After dying of laughter, we all just said « ya go do that, » and this is what came out. We’re very happy to have found Bird and his insane talents. »

Comme-ci comme-ça est le deuxième single de l’artiste pluridisciplinaire Charlie Faron. Toujours réalisé par Pierrick Devin (Lomepal, Clara Luciani…) le titre évoque ces journées où rien ne fonctionne, ces dimanches de repos où tout tourne en rond dans le cerveau, rien n’est constructif. Il va sans dire que ce morceau a été écrit un dimanche, pour partager ce sentiment et rendre l’improductivité féconde.

À tout juste 24 ans, Charlie, auteur,compositeur,interprète, entrepreneur et DA auto-didacte s’attelle à de nouvelles ambitions : jouer de ses textes en français.

Lui qui a passé son enfance aux Etats-Unis, parlé anglais avant le français, le défi n’était pas des moindres. Des premières démos dans la langue de Shakespeare en passant par le projet électro pop 228k dont il est également la tête pensante, Charlie s’est libéré de ses contraintes.

Décomplexé grace aux preuves artistiques réalisées au travers de sa

« Avec ses consonances 90′ et un univers dark/onirique, Lakeside Town raconte l’histoire d’une ville au bord d’un lac peu à peu envahie par la présence de l’Homme. C’est aussi une allégorie du corps que l’on réfute parce que jugé trop rond, trop différent, et assiégé par la critique et la présence constante du regard de l’autre. »

dite « Doo », fondatrices du projet, ne s’interdisent rien. Ce groupe anglophone, fait le choix d’utiliser la voix lead comme un instrument à part entière. Elle peut être aussi importante que la ligne de basse ou une nappe de synthétiseur. La complémentarité artistique des deux femmes leur permet d’étendre le champ des possibles à un univers dense, charnel, électrique. Doo est technicienne, mathématicienne, inspirée. Marie est littéraire, politisée, instinctive. Lorsqu’elles créent, elles ne sont pas dans un studio mais dans un laboratoire.

Musiciennes et innovantes, elles adoptent rapidement le réflexe d’intégrer à leurs créations des artistes-interprètes ou des compositeurs, qui poussent les limites de leurs concepts musicaux vers une réalisation cohérente et riche. C’est valable aussi pour les artistes du passé, Sisterhood Project s’inspire des fantômes de l’art en adaptant au goût du jour des œuvres historiques (Poème, Tableau, Vie d’artiste).

GASHI

Maïssa revient en ce début d’année avec le morceau puissant « Adios ». Son écriture va toujours droit au but : Maïssa dit au revoir à un homme qui lui a menti et l’a manipulé donc, « plus de toi c’est fini adios » est chanté fièrement sur un refrain toujours très dansant et efficace.

Après le phénomène « Icy » qui a confirmé Maïssa comme relève de la pop urbaine, ce nouveau titre lui promet une année 2022 remplie de succès et réussite.

Maïssa chante comme elle respire. Artiste née et vraie passionnée, elle fait partie de ces artistes pour qui la chanson est une seconde nature.

Née en 1999 dans le 18ème arrondissement parisien, Maïssa chante depuis aussi longtemps qu’elle s’en souvienne. C’est en octobre 2021 à Fourmies, dans le Nord, que l’équipe de GELCR a choisi de poser ses caméras pour tourner son 1er vidéoclip, « Les chapeaux rouillés », extrait du nouvel album « Des éclats de rêves ».

Fourmies. Une ville chargée d’histoire, victime parmi tant d’autres dans la région, de la désindustrialisation, et un quartier, la Cour Carrée, voué à la démolition avant reconstruction. D’où l’envie d’immortaliser l’endroit, en y intégrant, le temps d’un tournage, l’univers fantastique, familial et musical propre au spectacle « Gabor et les chapeaux rouillés ».

Voici donc l’histoire, en 3 tableaux, de personnes marquées par la vie et par le temps, et chez qui Gabor va faire renaitre l’espoir, avant de repartir vers d’autres aventures, une part d’humanité en plus dans ses bagages. Après tout, il y a juste une vie à traverser, alors oublions la boue sous nos pieds, et marchons vers nos rêves, puisqu’on ne sait plus où aller…
