Entitled « Roll With Us », the bass heavy song explodes with elements of pop, funk and electro for a confident anthem about rising above life’s challenges and proving all the naysayers wrong. The song was produced by The Morgue (Trey Songz, Lil Yachty, Saweetie, Quavo, Rihanna). Armani further confides, « I’ve faced a lot of doubt from others throughout my life so I wanted to write a song that symbolizes a big f*ck you to the ones who said I wouldn’t accomplish what I have. I also wanted to make this song for the people who feel like outcasts that don’t necessarily ‘fit in’ to remind them that even if you haven’t found your pack just yet, you can always roll with us 🙂 »

18 year old Armani Jackson spent the last decade performing alongside top names in Hollywood and building a solid resume for himself in television and film. Armani plays a lead role in the new YA Paramount + Honor Society film releasing July 29th opposite Angourie Rice and Gaten Matarazzo and top lines the new Wolf Pack series from Teen Wolf creator Jeff Davis. Wolf Pack follows a teenage boy [named Everett] and girl [named Blake] whose lives are forever changed when a California wildfire awakens a terrifying creature. Armani is currently in Atlanta filming the series to release this fall.

Armani spends his free time developing scripts for his production company Blue Velvet Productions and recently started a mental health and drug addiction foundation with his family.

While he’s created solid onscreen momentum for himself and his career, Armani has also been creating his own music. After delving into his musical talent last year, Armani has already produced a number of genre-defying alt hip hop meets R&B singles – partnering with The Morgue (Trey Songz, Lil Yachty, Saweetie, Quavo, Rihanna).

His latest single, « Roll With Us » is an autobiographical song about facing a lot of doubt from others throughout life. He confides, « I wanted to write a song that symbolizes a big fuck you to the ones who said I wouldn’t accomplish what I have. I also wanted to make this song for the people who feel like outcasts that don’t necessarily “fit in” to remind them that even if you haven’t found your pack just yet, you can always roll with us. »

As a young adult with a platform, Armani knows that he is in a position to provide a positive influence to his peers/generation. Armani is creative with his ability to connect with his expansive audience. He does this with integrity and authenticity, which will ultimately make him rise in a highly competitive industry.

the EP narrates the uncertainties of navigating life in your early 20s and ultimately, what you want out of love, relationships and finding your passion. Fran confides, « I remember feeling so confused about so many things and thinking that any mistake I make will be ‘the end of the world’, and so that’s how the title came about. The EP opens with ‘Subject’, a song about a situation that I’ve probably overthought the most in my whole life. The three songs coming after it are ‘Might as Well’, ‘Maybe’ and ‘The One About Rejection’, each following my decision-making process from ‘sure, why not’ to learning how to say no and trying to not feel guilty about it. »

Fran Vasilić’s overwhelming ambition to express his emotions authentically has led him to his current position. Spending the first nineteen years of his life on the island of Krk in Croatia, the bedroom/indie pop hyphenate broke through to the music scene with a series of viral Tik Tok posts. With a unique ability to market himself and connect with his listeners, Vasilić’s debut album, ‘Retrovizor,’ debuted on Apple Music’s Top 100 Alternative Albums chart in Malaysia and has now surpassed 7.5 million streams on Spotify alone. Emerging in the midst of quarantine to battle self-grief and to give a part of himself to his passion, the initial project has shifted pain into purpose.

Passenger Seat est le nouveau single de Mayfly. Il est extrait de leur premier album tant attendu, prévu pour le mois d’octobre prochain chez Duprince Records. Pour patienter avant la sortie, le duo féminin nous offre le single parfait pour nous accompagner pendant les vacances. Passenger Seat évoque la moiteur et l’euphorie des nuits d’été. Florian CHARLET, le producteur français fondateur de 2Pac Legacy.

Producteur musical & fondateur de 2Pac Legacy

Née le 1er Juin 1989, Florian Charlet est originaire de Lyon et vit en Saône et Loire (Bourgogne). Autodidacte, Florian Charlet est un producteur de musique depuis 2010 au sein du label de rap lyonnais CBStyle Records. Il a aussi travaillé pour l’artiste Casus Belli (Silvan Areg).

Il a travaillé sur plusieurs albums physique entre 2008 et 2011 avec des collaborations comme Rohff ou Keny Arkana.

Depuis 2007, il a fondé et dirigé 2Pac Legacy, la première communauté européenne sur le défunt artiste de rap Tupac Shakur. Tout en gardant sa passion pour la production musicale, le Hip-Hop et 2Pac, il décida à partir 2015 de se lancer dans la production de mixtapes en honneur au rappeur Tupac et créa cela dans l’hexagone.

De 2015 à aujourd’hui, 6 projets ont été créer avec la participation et la collaboration de plusieurs artistes américains et DJ’s internationaux comme récemment Obie Trice, acteur et chanteur et proche du célèbre rappeur de Détroit Eminem. Les mixtapes ont été, au fil des années, vu par la propre famille de Tupac avec qui il travail désormais depuis janvier 2020 en gérant le label Slave Music Entertainement LLC créer par Revelation T.Johnson depuis l’Europe qui n’est autre que l’un des cousins de Tupac.

Un disque de platine a été délivré par le célèbre magazine Billboard « House Tropical – Cruises To Jamaica ».

Il est à ce jour le seul lien en France de la famille de Tupac pour toute demande de projets ou autres.

En 2017, sa communauté, 2Pac Legacy, se fait plus connaître grâce à sa participation pour la promotion du biopic « All Eyez On Me » (USA) demandé par la production Morgan Creek et en diffusant sa date officiel de sortie en France.

Par ailleurs, l’acteur et humoriste Malik Bentalha est aujourd’hui le parrain de 2Pac Legacy suite à cet événement.

Avec tous ses nombreux contacts, il décide aujourd’hui de se lancer dans le projet d’organisation d’un festival qui est en cours d’élaboration dans le secteur de la Saône et Loire réunissant plusieurs artistes francophones avec le soutien des artistes et organismes locaux.

Le premier festival devrait voir le jour en 2024. Depuis peu de temps il se lance également dans le beatmaking afin de produire ses propres instrumentales sous le pseudonyme de FloWave.

Los Angeles/Albuquerque duo The Sometimes Island are back with their new cinematic music videofor hit single « Acapulco », beautifully symbolising the narrative of the tune.

The Sometimes Island are a synth-forward pop band based in Los Angeles and Albuquerque. The exciting and highly visual live band is comprised of charismatic frontman Matt Blankenship Jr and anchored by drummer Nick Lopiano.

Their latest single, “Acapulco” explores themes of escapism and excitement as Blankenship Jr shares, “I like to juxtapose a theme with a sound and have them work together that makes the tension not immediately apparent.” Paying tribute to New Mexico, the songwriter continues, « I wrote Acapulco in Albuquerque, which is an amazing place but a hard word to sing. »

With musical influences from the likes of Townes Van Zandt and Deadmau5, “Acapulco” explores the excitement of beginning a new chapter of life, yet the contrasting sentiment that comes with it. Blankenship Jr states, “I wrote the song Acapulco to capture that listless ennui I was trapped under in Los Angeles, framing it with a fantasy of an ignored lover reaching their breaking point, leaving and abruptly buying a plane ticket.” The narrative almost ironically pairs with a dream-pop backing, harmonic rhythms, John Mayer inspired guitar riff and a truly contagious chemistry.

The accompanying cinematic music video for “Acapulco” beautifully mirrors the song’s story, as we witness the demise of a relationship, where one party decides to flee and head for a better, more wholesome life.

Poster Child is an indie rock band with a psychedelic funk twist. California-born vocalist/songwriter Theresa Gorella and guitarist/songwriter/producer Andrew Royal, who grew up in South Carolina, both met in Music City in 2016. The duo composes all of Poster Child’s intricately arranged music and heady lyrics, though their music is always performed with a 5 piece band.

“We love working with older processes. Film, tape, tube amps… they each have an intentional nature to them. We approach the sound design of our music with that in mind, taking advantage of the unique signal flow of my studio [Silver Tongue Studio] to put some heat on a lot of the main sources, the kind you can only get from circa 1950s-70s gear.
