Mood Supachild présente son nouveau clip « Boy Convoy »

Mood Supachild

Nouveau single Boy Convoy

Boy we on your convoy

New EP « You Ruined Forever »

Spotify

Anie Delgado is a Cuban-American artist and songwriter. Born in Miami, Florida, she grew up in Melbourne, FL and now resides in Los Angeles. Enjoying a colorful childhood with a dichotomy of culture and music, Delgado grew up immersed in her Cuban-heritage by way of dominos, late-night dancing, and blaring traditional Cuban music in the Florida Keys. Upon receiving her first guitar in 4th grade, she spent her adolescence writing songs and later moved to NYC to study at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy.

As an exceptional multidisciplinary artist inspired by the diversity of New York’s music scene, Delgado joined an experimental rock band and gigged with them until she decided to leave the band to pursue a solo career. Having moved to Los Angeles in 2018, she has since exploded into her very own realm of alternative pop. Upon the success of her first single “Galaxy”, Delgado has continued to evolve exponentially as an artist and is now back with her highly anticipated EP

You Ruined Forever.

Produced alongside industry newcomers George Gleeson, Gary Dillon, Caziel and Harry Egan, this six-track offering takes a more confrontational direction to its predecessors.

You Ruined Forever

is a self-confessed breakup album about healing, despite lacking closure. Delgado confides, “The EP is called

You Ruined Forever

because when I broke up with this person, they shifted the narrative and made me the villain even though I left the relationship because it wasn’t healthy, due to infidelity and personal growth that was needed on his part.” As Delgado takes back her narrative with the determination she displays so brightly, her next release explores breaking up with someone before you’ve fallen out of love, because it’s ultimately the right thing for you.

She continues, “Although the EP has a lot of tones of resentment and nostalgia and clinging to the past, the journey of the EP is that these relationships are what make us. I felt the need to release this project because this relationship shaped my 20s and who I am as a person.” Inspired by the likes of Taylor Swift, Joni Mitchell, and Phoebe Bridgers, she found nostalgia in the streets of NYC. Taking perspectives and personality and pouring them deeply into her EP, Delgado’s echoic vocal energy rises above warming melodies and tender rhythms that exemplify her sublime musicality. Delgado’s worldly wisdom shapes her chronicles in a truly unparalleled way, as she brings the authenticity of her inner journey to the ears of many.

Her single “Dancing While the World is on Fire” was featured in

Billboard

and celebrated for raising awareness and funds for a youth climate change activism group called Zero Hour. She also donated all of her NYC performance revenue to the Brooklyn Pride Center and performed for the Sunrise Movement to raise money for climate change activism. With streaming numbers hitting the hundreds of thousands, Anie Delgado proves that there really are no limits to her capability.

New single “The World Is Crashing In”

Spotify

Verra Cruz form the British alt-rock infused musical project of trio Marc James (guitar/lap steel/vocals), Henry Cross (bass) & Jimmy Cooke (drums). Known for their hard-hitting anthems and signature lap steel guitar, of which they stumbled upon in a small boutique guitar shop in Memphis, TN, the three-piece band have been creating mighty, raucous tracks, laced with spiritual and personal themes. The band admits, « We’re not afraid to sing out about injustice in the world. »

Following an incredible repertoire to date, the trio are back with their next single “The World Is Crashing In”, a gripping ode to love, loss and simply raw emotion. Marc explains, “The World Is Crashing In” was written during the painful season of Henry’s divorce. It was tough going for all of us to watch 2 people we loved dearly, separate. For me it brought up painful memories from my own childhood. The second verse was written from a time in my own childhood. Our family home had been flooded due to a burst pipe, it wrecked so much stuff including my mum’s wedding dress that she had kept. It seemed like a dark and apt metaphor for the impending carnage of what was to come.”

Recorded in Germany with producer and engineer Udo Rinklin, their compelling chronicles pair sublimely with sonic abilities to produce a tune that mirrors their subject matter sublimely. They continue, “We re-recorded the drums at The Old Chapel Studios down the road from Jimmy. Bob & Jen at CatBeach hired Bryan Cook to mix and we loved his mix instantly!”

Taking influence from rock and roll greats such as Jimi Hendrix, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, and Rage Against The Machine, their dark chord voicing and anthemic energy come to life in a way that provokes emotion, energy and purely authentic melancholy. As they inspire listeners to be honest and walk through tough situations together, they confide, “It’s ok to not be ok, you can always start again.”

Verra Cruz continues to storm into the scene, surpassing sonic expectations with their flair and purely inspirational fables. With stand-out support highlights with the likes of Biffy Clyro, X is Loaded, and Switchfoot across the world stage, they’ve played at renowned venues such as the Shepherds Bush Empire, and a whole host of European festivals since the 90’s, including Download Festival! Featuring in Kerrang! as an ‘Incoming Band’ in 2008, their first first single “Soul Collides” was spun on BBC Radio 1 and KROQ’s Jed The Fish also featured the single as his catch of the day. Needless to say, their explosive career continues to take off.

Cherry Lena is an alternative Pop R&B singer-songwriter from Montreal, Canada. Having first captured the attention of audiences with her performances on The Voice Quebec in 2018, she has since been making a name for her stunning combination of warm R&B tones and subtle 1950’s jazz vocals. Her music is rich and timeless, resulting in a sound which effortlessly displays the musician’s undeniable talent and passionate delivery.

Her next single « Toxic Woman » explores the idea that people should not see their pain as a weakness, but rather as an opportunity to grow into an elevated version of themselves. Lena confides, « This song is a sort of letter to myself. I wrote it last summer, at a dark time of my life. Whenever I feel down, I have this strange sensation that I’m stuck in a web of eternal negativity. Losing my sense of time, It’s like my sadness overpowers every part of my being and I feel incapable of relating to others. Relying only on myself in these moments, this song kind of represents the interaction between myself and a past happier version of me. »

Written in producer Jay Lavigne’s home studio, Lena set about encapsulating her truly cathartic musical messages. As she sings, « I know you’re gone, You always needed more, you, ‘Til I’m your ghost, No one gets to come close to you », her new single soars with passionate vocal energy, rising synthesisers and contagious melodies. Lena continues to showcase her migration into a realm of dreamy alternative pop, solidifying her remarkable sound and likening musical persona.

Hoping that listeners will find resonance amongst her rhythms, She continues, « I believe It’s only when we feel down that we really truthfully hear music’s messages. I think that applies to this song too. Anyone who’s experienced any sort of deep sorrow in their life will feel connected to this song. I’m hoping it’ll bring some sort of comfort. »

Racking up an impressive amount of streams on Spotify, the artist continues to win over the hearts of listeners across the globe. Her cover of Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good” in collaboration with Apashe has received more than eight million views on YouTube alone. Garnering humbling praise from tastemakers such as METAL Magazine, Earmilk and Atwood, she is proving to be a force to be reckoned with. Expect to see a lot more from Cherry Lena in coming months!

sierra blax shares her new album brb i m daydreaming

Sierra Blax shares her new album « brb…i’m daydreaming »

Sierra Blax

New album « brb…i’m daydreaming »

Spotify

The ten track album is « about taking risks and doing things my way. The title, « brb…i’m daydreaming » represents my youth and how daydreaming got me here. This album will spark feelings of madness and self-destruction but at the same time orchestrating those feelings with class., » proclaims Sierra Blax. Single “Distract Me” is an upbeat, playful pop anthem that chronicles Sierra’s experience getting over a toxic person with even more toxic distractions. Chalk full of distorted instrumentals including dramatically decadent violin spirals and the sound of a text being typed out and sent, “Distract Me” is a full-bodied sonic experience met with Sierra Blax’s enchanting vocals.

Born and raised on the remote island of Kaua’i, singer- songwriter Sierra Blax left the ocean breezes and sounds of palm trees for a life in the grittiness of Los Angeles. « Although life in Hawai’i was truly paradise, I knew I needed a change in scenery to grow as an artist and really tap into my second nature, which is music, » Blax confides. When you listen to Sierra’s music, you can hear just that, the blend of two spirits. It’s obvious that when she writes she escapes, and for us, the rawness is brutal & honest in the most stylish way.

Before her move to Los Angeles, Sierra Blax started her professional music journey at the University of Hawaii studying vocal performance and music theory. She also was a vocalist for the jazz band and from there, she grew her love for jazz singers such as Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday, Frank Sinatra, and today’s version of jazz, Amy Winehouse. Performing with the jazz band allowed her to have more artistic freedom with her vocals that she couldn’t really tap into when studying classical/ operatic music.

Even during and after graduating music school, it became a habit for her to stay up late in her room and write her own songs. She wrote “ Woke up in a Mansion” during this time and started performing her original music during gigs all over Oahu.

In 2014, Blax left the glassy Hawaiian surf and jumped on a one way ticket to Los Angeles. Since, she’s released a single every year clocking in over 70,000 streams on Spotify and has performed all over Los Angeles at venues such as, The Hotel Cafe, The Mint, Peppermint Club, Four Seasons Beverly Hills.

For Sierra, this is still only the beginning with the release of her debut album,

brb… I’m daydreaming

. This album is a combination of songs she wrote while in Hawaii and in Los Angeles, then reimagined and fine tuned in Syracuse, New York at More Sounds Studio where she worked with producers Tim Rose, Andrew Greecen & Max McKee to bring these songs to life. The album will take you on a rollercoaster right from the beginning. You will hear the evolution of Sierra Blax as an artist all throughout this album and it’s a beautiful journey – a blend of neo-soul, pop and r&b, grabbing inspiration from artist like Snoh Aalegra, Amy Winehouse, Aaliyah, Ariana, all while staying in her own lane.
