Known for her love of christmas music, Baez returns with her latest addition, “When You Hear Joni.” Inspired by the idea of how a song you once loved can be ruined because it reminds you of a certain heartbreak, or emotional situation in your life, the melancholy track has been described as a “sad girl christmas song.”

Baez shares, “I worked with two amazing female songwriters/producers on this song and concept, Meghan Kabir and I really dove into the idea of Joni Mitchell’s River as the song that sparks a heartbreaking memory. We then worked with HARLOE ie: Jessica Karpov on production and making the song sound like a classic christmas song, with a melancholic nature like the snow was falling down slowly throughout the entire song.”

The somber song shimmers with delicate melodies and glowing harmonies, as Baez puts her own spin on a traditional holiday song, explaining, “I love getting into my feelings during the holiday season. I wanted this track to remind people of a classic christmas song but with a twist.”

Baez has had a flourishing acting career having landed roles in Spike Lee’s She’s Gotta Have It, Orange is the New Black and most recently CBS’s FBI. She has also performed in numerous Off-Broadway and Regional theatrical productions. Baez has also seen great success with her YouTube channel which has built an impressive following. traite de façon poétique des relations d’emprise. Dans ce type de relation, la violence y est cachée et des états hypnotiques sont créés par l’utilisation d’injonctions contradictoires. Dans le clip, la volonté a été d’approcher ces dynamiques de façon métaphorique comme le fait le texte de la chanson. Le clip se place dans le décor d’un cercle de jeu, où les personnages sont tour à tour les joueurs ou l’objet du jeu et l’enjeu.

Danse, dessin, musique, chant… toute forme de création artistique est vitale pour Claire, c’est son moyen d’expression depuis l’enfance, qui la voyait tournée vers son monde intérieur. OZAK est un jeune artiste qui ne laisse rien au hasard ! Il grandit dans une famille de musiciens et respire la musique dès son plus jeune âge en passant beaucoup de temps dans le studio de la maison familiale. A la fin de son adolescence, Ozak sait qu’il veut faire de la musique son métier. Déterminé et autodidacte, il maîtrise rapidement la production musicale et perfectionne sa pratique du piano et de la guitare.

En parallèle, il commence à écrire et composer ses premières chansons. Encore inconnu des médias et du public, il reçoit ses premières critiques de la part de ses amis, qui vont l’encourager à mettre en ligne ses premiers titres.

Stefano May is an LGBTQ+ artist who grew up in Soveria Mannelli, Italy before coming to Miami. He first met acclaimed producer Chico Bennett (Madonna, Lady Gaga, The Killers, Prince) in 2019, and the two have been working together ever since.

Born in Italy, Stefano took to music at an early age and began classical piano training at age seven. He quickly gained notoriety by performing on popular Italian TV shows, and since then has collaborated with famed songwriters, as well as the famed director Franco Zeffirelli. Honing his craft further, the musician and singer has ultimately composed and scored motion picture soundtracks under the guidance of award-winning filmmaker Jamal Joseph.

which was produced and co-written by Dane Etteridge (Lewis Capaldi, Declan J Donovan, & StLundi and is out now.

The themes of

Trying Not To Try

are centred around mental health and becoming. If that sounds like heavy going, it most certainly isn’t; Lloyd tackles these subjects with lightness and optimism, with pin-sharp melodies and hooks that are instant earworms. The songwriter shares, “Over the past few years I’ve been on a real search to explore my mind while pursuing music, beginning with a year in bed after an accident. I read and watched everything I could to be inspired. I tried many forms of therapy and healing in search of a calmer approach to life’s ups and downs – realising I couldn’t control my life but I could control how I reacted to it. The EP came out of those early discoveries of philosophy, meditation and The Tao Te Ching. This all helped to find out what I was looking for: Ask for it, and then let go of the outcome. And that is the meaning of Trying Not To Try”.

For the video for “Heal”, Waiting For Smith sat in a studio meditating for 8 hours throughout the day, while out on a nearby street passers-by were asked the question: What is it that you would like to heal? They were then invited to write their answers on his body. People from all nationalities, all backgrounds and around 17 languages were involved. The idea was that a non-judgemental and still presence would present the perfect canvas to be written on, and by being listened to and heard these volunteers were able to let go of what they didn’t need.

Waiting For Smith is Harry Lloyd, who decided to dedicate his life to music after breaking his back aged 24 and spending a year in recovery. He had always been musical – Lloyd began writing songs aged 7 and has been playing drums and piano since the same age – but finding himself bedbound for a year he learned the guitar and, after finding comfort in poetry, started writing songs with a renewed sense of purpose. Once mobile again Lloyd formed Waiting for Smith, named after endlessly waiting for their original drummer Smith, who always failed to show up.

Since debuting his music in 2019, Waiting for Smith has received millions of Spotify plays and landed radio play on over 190 stations around the world, including by Huw Stephens on Radio 1, Dermot O’Leary and Jo Whiley on Radio 2, Tom Robinson on 6 Music, Maz Tappuni on Radio X, Flux Fm in Germany, Radio Doble Neuve in Lima, Peru and KROQ and KISS FM in the USA and Radio One in India. Il y a quelques mois, on découvrait le multi-instrumentiste brésilien Mayu avec son premier single Parle-moi du soleil porté par des paroles écrites par Francis Cabrel. Mayu dévoile désormais un EP Pas d’ici, riche de cinq titres à découvrir dès le 09/12/2022 sur toutes les plateformes digitales.

Avec son EP Pas d’ici et le single du même nom, Mayu dresse des ponts entre chanson française, jazz et musique populaire brésilienne. Pas d’ici se révèle être l’un des singles les plus personnels de l’artiste, retraçant son parcours de vie :

The title track, « Selfish », kicks in with echoey, haunting piano and synths trailing a diary style confession which reveals a main plotline of Zoe Sky Jordan’s new album. Penned during the pandemic, which saw Zoe and her husband move in with her parents for seven months, the album is reflective, introspective, investigative and dissective. In the same way that many of us gained perspective once we were forced to sit still, Zoe’s voyage home, after years out on her own living in Toronto and Nashville, gave her fresh eyes and ears to embrace a new frame of mind.

Daughter of acclaimed artist / songwriter / producer power couple Amy Sky and Marc Jordan, Zoe watched first-hand the differences afforded a successful man vs a successful woman in the music industry. album, set for release in Spring 2023. Acknowledgement, forgiveness, understanding and self-acceptance are the themes that abound. This is an album that takes you through all of the emotions and plunks you at the doorstep labelled ‘Be at peace with yourself’.

Musically this album is reminiscent of Soccer Mommy, Snail Mail and Ethan Gruska. The first two singles released off the upcoming album, “Just Fine” and “Achievement of Youth”, were produced by Liam Russell, and mixed by Rob Shnapf (Kurt Vile, Elliot Smith). Stepping into a bolder and more brazen persona, « Just Fine » is a jammy and angsty track complete with sloshy guitar, bouncing drums and hypnotic, soaring vocals that proclaims

“I always live up to the hype, never crack under pressure”.

Zoe shares with us that the inspiration for « Achievement Of Youth » came from some very powerful words spoken by actress/writer Carrie Fisher:

“Youth and beauty are not accomplishments. They’re the temporary happy by-products of time and / or DNA. Don’t’ hold your breath for either”.

As the years go by, you get a better understanding of who you are as an individual and you’re happy with just being you.

Zoe has seen great experiences and career highlights, having shared the stage with the likes of Marlon Williams, Ohmme, Madi Diaz, Molly Pardon, Savannah Conley, Andrew Combs, Jezzie Baylin and more. She enjoys collaborating with artists in all genres and in 2020 she teamed up with Kayobe (Cadence Music) for his track “No Sympathy” which was the lead single off his album and Nashville folk darling Robby Hecht for his song « Ferris Wheel ».

, her 2015 EP charted in the top 10 at U.S. college radio and won a CSC award for the music video for “Powerlines”, one of the album’s first singles. You know Zoe from a myriad of TV placements her songs have had including Lost Girl, Riverdale, Finding Carter, Less Than Kind, Hockey Night in Canada and Hallmark. Her covers of “True Colors” and “Love Is All Around” were featured in Canadian Tire’s award-winning Christmas ads 2 years in a row.

”. Cette interrogation doit nous pousser à aller chercher les réponses et devenir maître de notre destin. Critiquer c’est toujours simple, mais agir c’est autre chose. Avec ce nom, je veux créer un côté quasi dérangeant qui favorise le sursaut, la prise de conscience et la possibilité d’avoir un regard oblique sur tout ce qui nous entoure. C’est important de ne pas se laisser porter et même si le véritable pouvoir

humain ne réside pas dans l’individu, mais dans le collectif, cela ne veut pas dire qu’il faut devenir complètement passif!
