Bino will release his debut EP in January 2023 and “Wake ‘Em Up” is the second single on the EP. A powerful song about shifting your mindset, HoodTrophy Bino calls upon his past struggles to help guide him in accomplishing his dreams today.

“You can wake up on different levels,” says Bino about the song and video. “You can become woke about your life – how you want it to be, instead of how it keeps crashing out of control.” The video shows Bino thrashing in bed, having a nightmare. Past excesses torment him, but he finds himself living the life he had always dreamed of – a gorgeous girlfriend (played by K.Shiday), a lit luxury beach house in Marina Del Rey, and close friends celebrating his new house, lifestyle, and accomplishments.

Bino is still striving to reach this dream – he began life in poverty with seven brothers and sisters (thirteen counting step-siblings) where they would sleep in hotels with two beds, a couch, and his mom and step-dad on the floor. “I had nothing growing up,” recalls Bino. “Trauma became an everyday part of my life. My pops is serving a life sentence in San Quentin. My best friend growing up was kidnapped and executed when I was 17.”

K. Shiday lends her voice to the single with sheer magnetism and effortless, charismatic flow. Resonating deeply with the song’s message, the artist confides, “I am rebranding myself. I am independent now and the song and video with Bino appealed to me.” Together, HoodTrophy Bino and K. Shiday create a captivating dynamic, united by the same story of overcoming obstacles through music, determination, and self-expression. The song infuses piano and a music-box back drop to a track with both artists rapping hard to make their fairytale a reality.

Los Angeles based rapper HoodTrophy Bino (Tadashi Sayres) creates empowering music about overcoming hardships and leveling up in life. Raised by a single mother in a house with fourteen brothers and sisters under one roof in Palmdale, California and later the crime ridden projects of South Central LA, HoodTrophy Bino (“Bino”) succumbed

to the

gang life that surrounded him. Finding an important outlet in music when violence surrounded him, Bino began rapping himself – first being exposed to freestyle through his older brother.

Due to gang involvement and a father serving a life-sentence in San Quentin, Bino began repeating a doomed path that found him circulating in and out of jail. During one of his short stints, he met Soulja Boy who was also serving time. The two developed a friendship after Bino wrote him a letter and gave him a bag of Hot Cheetos. Shortly after his release from jail, Big Draco reached out and signed Bino to his S.O.D.M.G. (Stacks on Deck Money Gang) label having been impressed by his determination and musical talent. Venturing into the studio soon after, they recorded their first song “Racing In Traffic” in 2021.

Bino’s music discusses his life and what he’s been through; from hard-hitting bangers like “Thuggin” to melodic, soulful ballads, like “Project Baby.” Bino’s single “Dripped in Designer” was released in 2021 featuring Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em. It’s a muted, melancholy rap saga celebrating luxurious dreams of distant islands and designer drip. “Most Wanted” is a potent powerhouse that shows off Bino’s quick-witted flow and upbeat tempo. The respect and love Bino has received from music has given him hope and encouraged him to show a better life to his young children.

Released earlier this year, “Project Baby” is HoodTrophy Bino’s raw, reflective look at his past growing up in the projects. It’s an empowered retelling of his own struggles meant to uplift people that have faced similar obstacles to Bino and show them there is hope for a better future.

After experiencing the loss of his family members, Bino used this philosophy to help heal himself and hopes to encourage others to do the same. 2016 et Est-ce que tu vois le tigre ? en 2018, le quintet suisse, désormais quatuor, prépare la sortie de son nouveau disque avec un nouveau single, Couchés sur le sable à découvrir en clip.

A la croisée de la scène indé-anglophone et de la chanson française, Le Roi Angus puise ses inspirations dans les mélodies psychédéliques de Tame Impala, Feu! Chatterton et Foxygen ou encore dans les textes de Serge Gainsbourg.

Sosie, le nouvel album du Roi Angus promet une balade musicale planante, décalée et poétique. Conduit par le directeur artistique Renaud Letang, Couchés sur le sable et son clip réalisé par Nick & Chloé nous emmènent dans les sables émouvants d’un imaginaire intensément poétique qui laisse rêveur.

Le Roi Angus est un groupe d’indie-pop rock genevois. Martin, alias Casimir M. Admonk -auteur-compositeur- est entouré de trois musiciens qui se retrouvent aux frontières de la scène indé-anglophone et de la chanson française. Les influences liminaires sont intergénérationnelles mais la scène californienne néo-psychédélique semble le point d’accroche.

Au-delà de cette scène mythique, les mélodies du Roi Angus résonnent avec celles des groupes comme Feu!Chatterton, Foxygen, Tame Impala ou se rapprochent du riche univers d’un Jacco Gardner. Les textes quant à eux rappellent l’humour de Gainsbourg et le symbolisme de Lescop ou de la chanteuse Fishbach.

« That Feeling » takes an honest look at relationships and ruminates on the emotions that arise when letting someone go.

While the original version of « That Feeling » was produced by three time Grammy Award winning producer Troy Taylor (Trey Songz, Whitney Houston) and multi-platinum G Sparkz (Meek Mill, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Young MA), the acoustic set uses dialed back soundscapes to lean into the gravity of Creuzot’s vocals while further developing an emotional depth to pair with the thematics of heartbreak, tenderness, and acceptance. Hailing from the Lone Star state of Texas, born and raised in Houston, Coline Creuzot, a singer/songwriter has an astonishing voice. Coline fell in love with the arts at a young age and always knew she was destined for greatness. If it isn’t her dynamic personality or her creative drive, Coline’s angelic voice and her passion for music is captivating. Coline started off performing at local competitions and continued to write and sing throughout her high school and college career.

Coline is not only an incredible voice, but also a scholar. After the singer/songwriter turned boss woman completed her undergraduate degree in Business Management at Hampton University, she decided to move back to Houston to pursue music full time. During this time and while experiencing the growing pains of life, detailed in many of her autobiographical songs, Coline was introduced to Happy Perez, a fellow Houstonian and producer who has worked with Miguel, Mariah Carey and Frank Ocean to name a few. They collaborated on a song called, ‘Give and Take’, that went on to become an immediate hit. ‘Give and Take’ climbed all the way to number 1 on the Houston Radio Charts. The success of the song granted Coline opportunities to open for some amazing artists such as Drake, Keyshia Cole, Monica, Tank to name a few. She later attracted a publishing deal with EMI (now Sony ATV).

Coline continued to grow as an artist and writer expanding her portfolio. Named “an artist at the forefront” by Ebony Magazine, in 2016 Coline’s single ‘Truth Is’ peaked at number 24 on Billboard’s Urban A/C charts. Coline’s music has been recognized by several blogs and magazines such as Vibe Magazine, Pynk Magazine and Singersroom, critics praised her for her writing ability and solid resume working with some of H-Town’s hottest artists such as Slim Thug, Lil Keke, Z-Ro and Paul Wall.

Coline made the jump to Los Angeles to pursue her artistry full time. Known for her strong soulful pipes and lyrical storytelling, Coline pays homage to old-school R&B with a relevant swagger which she showcased in 2017 at the Essence Festival debuting on the « For the Love of R&B » stage. Coline re-released « Truth Is » with a feature from the diamond princess Trina October 2019. Most recently Coline opened for Keyshia Cole, Tank, and K Michelle at the Arena Theater in Houston. On January 10th 2020, Coline released her latest single titled “You Tried It”, which peaked at

The song’s lyrics draw comparison to feelings of euphoria, loss of self control and the excitement and high of a new relationship that you can’t get enough of.

Social Drag is a ‘90s rock inspired, original project from singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, Emily Hulslander. As frontwoman of the project, Hulslander is the sole songwriter and producer, enlisting various members of the Los Angeles musical community to round out the line up for live shows and studio recordings. L’ensemble Loco Cello composé de François Salque (violoncelle), Samuel Strouk (guitare) et Jérémie Arranger (contrebasse) repart pour de nouvelles aventures avec la sortie de Tangorom le 03 février 2023. On retrouve sur ce second album de Loco Cello deux invités de marque : Biréli Lagrène et Adrien Moignard.

L’album Tangorom est une promesse de voyage de l’Argentine à l’Europe de l’Est, en passant par le jazz manouche et la musique classique. La boussole a perdu le nord depuis que Loco Cello a décidé de redessiner la carte du monde sur ses partitions, comme le prouve ce deuxième album passe-murailles.

Tissant des liens étroits entre la musique classique, le jazz, et les musiques du monde, Loco Cello nous ensorcelle avec sa palette sonore colorée, contrastée, et sensuelle, servie par une sonorité de groupe hors du commun, captée par Philippe Tessier du Cros à l’Abbaye de Noirlac.

À l’occasion du 70e anniversaire de la mort de Django Reinhardt, Loco Cello propose une éclaircie salvatrice en célébrant, avec audace et originalité, une autre facette de Django : celle de son jeu lyrique à travers sa passion de la musique classique. Tangorom navigue d’Astor Piazzolla à Django, en passant par la musique de chambre et les musiques d’Europe de l’Est. Une folle odyssée sonore.

Enregistré à l’abbaye de Noirlac, Tangorom, le nouvel album de Loco Cello, voyage d’Astor Piazzolla à Django Reinhardt, en passant par la musique de chambre et les musiques d’Europe de l’Est.

Pour ce deuxième opus, Loco Cello a invité Adrien Moignard et Biréli Lagrène. Imaginez une partie de ping-pong, en double : d’un côté, un duo classique sur le papier, crossover dans les idées, avec Samuel Strouk et François Salque ; en face, les gâchettes gypsy jazz Adrien Moignard et Bireli Lagrène, soutenus par Jérémie Arranger.

Le résultat ? Des jeux de saute-frontières, croisant le fer et le nylon, le lyrisme et le swing, l’écriture et l’improvisation. Avec ces cinq fantastiques, il n’y pas que le cello qui est loco !

Il fallait un écrin de rêve et de silence pour accueillir ce quintet à cordes sensibles. Une retraite pour se recentrer. C’est à l’abbaye de Noirlac, un bijou de l’architecture cistercienne datant du XIIe siècle, qu’a été enregistré ce second album, avec Philippe Tessier Du Cros à la réalisation. Réverbération naturelle, sans effets fake ni micmacs de machine, écho de cathédrale, Tangorom est affaire de résonance.

With wistful melodies over moody contemplative guitars and chilled beats, « Keep It Between Us » is a bittersweet striking musical moment.

Hailing from the barrier islands of South Carolina, Andrew Christopher Rutherford Royal has a deep connection with the land and embodies a non-traditionalist’s interpretation of the eastern South. He writes Southern Gothic cameos which he weaves into often dark, Indie Americana. After writing and curating the works for an album he records and mixes the music for Rutherford Royal (as well as other artists) in his remote cabin studio overlooking a hidden waterfall in southern Tennessee.
